I’m Johnny, proud owner of Canadian Expert Cleaning.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
I held multiple positions in different aspects of cleaning growing up. I learned a lot in the service industry and saw the need for a higher standard of cleaning, so I set forth to create a company to plug the leak.
I have been actively involved in the cleaning industry since 2007. However, Canadian Expert Cleaning officially launched in 2014. Over the past couple of years, a lot has changed as we incorporated new technologies, chemicals, techniques, etc. Irrespective of the changes, our passion for cleaning will always remain constant, but the systems employed to get the job done may keep varying.
There’s nothing I find more gratifying than a solid, before and after picture when handling a project. It brings me great joy to see the end result alongside the original state. Although it usually doesn’t tell the story of the hours put into the actual cleaning, it does show the beginning and the end.
The most rewarding part of owning the business is being able to foster long-lasting relationships with clients. There is nothing more satisfying than hearing a happy client. Producing that “wow” factor is always my goal. It also gives me great joy to know that I can employ great people and empower them through training and support to be the best they can be and remain motivated.
Our various business philosophies are, never ask someone to do/clean something I would not do myself. Furthermore, I never quote to “get the job” but rather price things to “get the job done.” There’s a significant difference between the two, and that difference is my experience.
One of my proudest achievements has been providing professional cleaning services to the CN Tower. Being from Toronto and cleaning the largest attraction and monument in the country is a testament to where I envisioned the company before its inception. I attribute my success to being able to keep customers happy, employing great people, and keeping supervisions and systems in place for quality assurance.
The way you do anything is the way you do everything, and I live by that. Consistency is vital in this industry and to life in general, I believe this sets me apart from the rest.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, going to the gym, as well as playing basketball whenever possible.
I have been a Big Brother with ‘Big Brothers Big Sisters’ of Toronto for four years now. I was named Big Brother of the Year in 2016 and have a great relationship with my little Brother that I know will last a lifetime.
